This is a new painting I have just finished using a very different painting method

these are fairly recent oils I have added to my stock.

Hello again. Sitting here contemplating how to finish a painting I have started. As a young student at my first art school I learned many technical (pre-computer technical) ideologies which needed to be forgotten to when painting. They needed to become innate so the painting could have a natural flow and strokes of the paintbrush. I had forgotten the part of the learning that needed to be automatic. Need to stop thinking and just paint.
